i dunno if you start messing things up and it doesnt look tidy then it can start to become abit chavy, but every1 to there own, if you do it take your time fitting it

done properly it looks good, worst that can happen it it looks **** = i take it off but hopefully it'll suit it, looks a bit more stealthy as well

mate, im gonna be honest. ive never liked you car and always felt a little sorry for it as it never looks treated when you drop by

but with the work you have carried out it has certainly changed my views. done yourself good there mate, a car to be proud of :)

treated in what way? i had to do things bit at a time and as much as i wanted to get it sorted funds took time, not finished but at least its easier on the eye (will it ever be finished though :rolleyes:)
I bought it with a few small dents that i always wanted rid of, but with virtually one on every panel i just waited til i could get a full respray.

got a bit of fine steel wool and autosol on the exhaust (cheers luke!), turned out alright, reasonably happy, took a couple more pics whilst I was at it :)

i've got an lcr splitter, had it in the garage for about a year!
will one day get round to fitting it, esp now its lower and its a freshly painted bumper

When you colour coded your bump strips did you just use the ones on your car already or did you buy new ones?

The reason i ask? I'm seriously thinking about doing mine after seeing so many with them done.

I've seen the satin black ones on the MK3 FAQ thread and wondered if you used these as they are supposed to be better for colouring

I bought new ones, apparantly the clips arent that great and are prone to snapping so better to buy new ones, I did buy the black ones but they still needed to be de-textured
