Will these fit my car ok with a 225/40/18 tyre?

The center bore diameter is 57.06mm (57.1mm)

Its a MK2 Cupra.

Anyone got nay pics with a similar wheel?

Whats the offset of the standard Cupra wheel? et51?

yeah, got that exact setup on my car mate.

lowered on sportlines too and no rubbing issues or catching of arches... think it's when you get to around ET35 you get problems...

centre bore can't remember.. all i know is that the front or rear wheels have a spacer in the centre bore bit to make it tighter... not sure if that's cause the the wheels were made with two different bores or the actual hub is a different size on the car?

Different manufactures produced different protursions...even if the offset is the same for some reason some makes they stuck out more! I think BBS stick out more than other makes. Looking @ Nick P's being 50's and mine being 40's... not much difference is there!?

quick parts scan lists em 6.5J x 18 ET51 ?? hmmm

but then it's worth a check to be sure as there is no point trying to figure out what will fit when you have no baseline to compare it too, that way you can simply measure off the current wheel to see what rooms left or not left as the case may be :)

not in this case of course but for others dont forget if changing wheel diameter the vertical axis + tyre profile% + width needs consideration too as a 45 profile on a 195 is lower in mm than a 45 on a 235 and it can change a lot quite easy

starting with 8.0/40

6.5/51 = 8mm less clearance inner / outer edge extended +30mm

*7.5/51 = 5mm more clearance inside / outer edge extended +17mm

ET45 Pro Race 1.2's do make contact with the inside of the front arch on my car and Owens car with 225/40/18 tyres. I also believe they may scuff on Dans car with his 235/40/18 tyres.
