SEAT Introduces New “all-in” Aftercare Plan for SEAT cars aged 3-6 years old

Includes two services, two MOTs and two years’ Roadside Assistance from £32.99 a month (£791.76 up front).

SEAT has launched its All-in service, a brand-new aftercare plan that gives drivers more years of care-free motoring.

Available on SEAT cars aged 3-6 years old, under 100k miles and with a 2.0L engine or less, includes two services & MOTs, two years’ full Roadside Assistance, with an additional two years of free Warranty funded by SEAT UK.

Developed in collaboration with Volkswagen Financial Services (UK) Limited, All-in** is available on SEAT cars aged 3-6 years old, under 100,000 miles and with an engine less than 2.0 litres, and includes two services and MOTs, two years’ full Roadside Assistance, with an additional two years of free Warranty.

The service costs owners just £32.99 a month (or £791.76 upfront), giving complete peace of mind around their car for the next two years.

Developed in collaboration with Volkswagen Financial Services UK, All-in packages all the essentials of effective car care. The service also represents outstanding value for drivers, compared to purchasing the same products and services individually, saving an average of £782† over the two year period, nearly equivalent to the price of the plan itself.

Using SEAT-trained technicians, the latest diagnostic equipment and only genuine parts, the services and MOTs included in the All-in service comprises of one minor and one major service to make driving safe, efficient and legal throughout the two-year period.

The Roadside Assistance as part of the All-in plan is provided by the AA. The service offers comprehensive support including breakdown assistance and accident recovery in case things don’t go to plan, and onward travel services to the driver’s destination or a SEAT Authorised Repairer if roadside repair isn’t possible.

Alongside a host of additional support services* as part of the All-in Roadside Assistance, drivers can also get a replacement vehicle within 48 hours to ensure continued mobility no matter what.

Including a two-year Warranty** completely free, All-in also helps avoid any unexpected repair costs, providing full component cover at no extra cost to drivers.

Seems well worth it IMO. Hopefully they’ll still be doing it in 18 months time when my car turns 3!

Looks cracking value as also includes (SEAT) warranty too and also see they do a 30 min check appt before accepting you.
Wonder what happens if on LongLife and if they still cover you or just do 1 service, I generally do 18k a year and get a yearly service, as save me 2 trips to dealer.

EDIT - Just seen - "This includes 2 services (1 minor + 1 major)". Technically one longlife as its both in one...

Well this is interesting. Was going to sign up for another years warranty on my 15plate cupra just in case. just getting rid of my aa cover will basically pay for this.

edit. With an engine LESS that 2.0, thats all the cupras out the equation then. Annoyed face :cautious:

An authorised SEAT repairer will carry out an eligibility check first to check your car qualifies for the Warranty cover based on it's current condition. Once that’s done they can go ahead and set up the plan there and then, and you're good to go.



So that needs clarification then.

Phoned Marshall Braintree this morning where i got mine from and got this clarified. Official word from Seat is the leaflet is incorrect and has conflicting info.

correct information,
-Under 6 years old (if your over by 1 day not eligible)
-2.0L engines or under, so Cupras are fine.
-Under 100k.


Big downside for me is mine is over the 6 years by 1 month so not eligible, absolutely fantastic deal for people that can get it however.

Has anyone gone for this yet?
This looks like good value for the warranty alone.
Would be nice to get 2 years warranty on my new to me Cupra which has just gone out of warranty, although I never had a single issue with my FR that I got at 3 years old and kept for 4 years.

My Cupra is 7 years old in July, and never had anything wrong with it. In fact since 1996 when I bought my first SEAT a 1.8 GTI right thru till now I have never had any extended warranty as statistics say if I do have a problem over the years it is cheaper to fix it then, rather than pay up front in case something happens in the future. I have saved thousands over the years with following the Which mag advice and not having anything on extended warranty unless it came free. Put away the amount a month you would normally pay on warranties, into a separate account just for repairs and it soon mounts up.

I thought this was a great deal, so started the ball rolling to sign up for it for my Ateca, which was 4 last April.
First thing I will say is that when the Seat website says the vehicle inspection will take 25 minutes, its a bit of a stretch. I was waiting 2 hours for mine, a third of which was taken up doing all the forms.
My vehicle has had all the services at the recommended intervals and all at the local Seat main dealer, so no problems there with the eligibility. However, at the 3 year service, and the 4 year service, I have been told "your aircon is due a top up", which was optional, and given the aircon works perfectly, and my mileage is well below average, I have declined this optional up sale.
This however came back to bite me when trying to sign up for this deal. The dealer said my car had passed all the checks, but they refused to accept me onto the plan until I got the "optional" work done.
I could see nothing in the T&C's about optional items, so, right or wrong, convinced myself this was the dealer trying to scam me for extra unnecessary work.
I asked them why taking out the normal £175 1 year extended warranty didn't require this optional work to be completed, he said if the AC compressor broke due to having no fluid in it, then it would be excluded when the claim was made. Sounds fair enough, but no explanations offered as to what the difference would be from a warranty claim from the "all in" package.
So, whether they were trying to scam me or not, I walked away, and have since ordered a new Ateca (from a different dealer).

I phoned my local dealer, Heritage Gloucester, today regarding applying the new Service/MOT/Warranty/Breakdown deal to my 3 years & 3 weeks old Leon FR 1.4TSi (150) DSG. They insist before I can sign up I must have the air0con serviced, despite it working perfectly, & have the brake fluid changed even though it was tested a month ago & showed less than 2% water contamination.
I'm still thinking whether to bother. Car is booked into my local VAG specialist to sort out faulty rear parking sensors so may ask him to quote for air-con check & brake fluid change.

I went for the all-in check on Monday.

Brake fluid wasn't changed at 3 years old by the previous owner (car is now 3 years and 4 months old) and SEAT advised that they would need to see proof of the brake fluid being changed within 7 days of the check taking place in order to start the warranty.

I opted to have the fluid changed whilst they did the elegibility check as I couldn't fit it in to be done elsewhere.

Worth checking with your local dealer.

Side note, I'm still waiting on a decision from SEAT to go ahead, car has a non standard exhaust and they're deciding if they can give me the warranty altogether or just exclude things related to the exhaust such as emissions

This looks worthwhile! The warranty on my car is due to end in October (I’ve had a couple of grands worth of work done on warranty so would look to extend), but my car fits the criteria for this deal. The optional work is a bit annoying, ac is spot on but I don’t think it’s ever been done, I’ll get this done on the next service. Anyone know how much ac regen/top up costs? I think the only issue they will have is with the last the major service. I didn’t have this done (got interim instead) as I changed the fuel filter, air box filter and cabin filter myself (I have the receipts). Brake fluid was done during all the hassle I had with my clutch/cylinder replacement (another story altogether!). Coolant has been done with the cambelt and water pump this month. I guess I will just try and see what happens. Has anyone succeeded in acquiring this deal?

My 2017 Leon fr is having the inspection tomorrow at Seat Stoke-on-Trent.
It was serviced by them in May where the brake fluid was changed. It's only done 22000 miles, so hopefully it will be ok.

My 2018 Leon FR has only done 20500 miles. The local Seat dealer insists that it needs the A/C serviced & the brake fluid changed before it can be considered for the scheme despite both being checked when serviced by a VAG specialist last December. It was out of warranty a month ago.
I've booked it into the VAG specialist for the fluid change & A/C service the day before the Seat inspectionn so at least the Seat dealer won't benefit from the unnecessary work.
