CUPRA, SEAT’s performance spin off-brand has confirmed the pricing and specification of the limited-run SUV, the CUPRA ATECA Limited Edition which was unveiled last year.
With only 1999 of the cars being made, only 100 of those are destined for the UK.
Within that 100 only 20 customers will be able to purchase the car with the Akrapovic Exhaust System and in Graphene Grey colour.
The SUV is available in Rhodium Grey – £42,120 (OTR) and for the exclusive Graphene Grey version with the Akrapovic Exhaust System will cost a whopping– £45,160 (OTR). The exhaust system reduces the weight of the car by 7KG.
Featuring a two-litre four-cylinder TSI petrol engine with a seven-speed DSG transmission, 4Drive (four-wheel drive) system the car hits 0-62mph in 4.9 seconds, a top speed of 153mph.
However, as we saw for the first time ever in the UK with the Leon CUPRA R, ST (in our video review), an ABT Sportsline power upgrade is available. This increases the power to 350PS and the torque to 440Nm. That’s an increase of 50PS and 40Nm over the untuned edition.
The CUPRA Ateca Limited Edition has unique 20-inch copper alloy wheels (behind which sit 18-inch Brembo brakes), a unique copper thread carbon fibre roof spoiler and copper threaded mirror covers. The CUPRA lettering on the back is on copper as well.
Inside the dash surround features of black frames, copper carbon fibre mouldings and Petrol Blue Alcantara bucket heated sport seats.
