SEATCUPRA.NET Members featured in November’s Autocar Magazine supplement

Back in September on a sunny but slightly chilly Sunday morning, four SEATCUPRA.NET members arrived at the Cotswolds to meet with journalist Dan Prosser and photographer Jonathan Fleetwood for a photoshoot, interviews and lunch in a local pub.

The members were Stuart (g60stu) with his platinum MK1 Leon CUPRA R, Jon (Legojon) with his MK2 Leon CUPRA R, Karl (KPGSmith) with his MK1 Leon CUPRA, and Scott (Syphon) with his MK3 Leon CUPRA 300.

The members travelled from Cambs, Reading, Bristol and the Midlands for the day which was to focus on the SEAT community and our enthusiasm for our cars.

The result forms part of a supplement in the November issue of Autocar but is also available in cut down form online here.

Autocar kindly shared their photographs from the day which we had agreed not to share up until now.

A big thank you to Autocar and SEAT from the members who attended as well as the forum as a whole for giving us this opportunity and recognition of the passion within our community.

Awesome pics! Looks like lots of planning went into it!

How did you allow the mk2 to be at the back @Legojon haha

Who got there well early to clean the car before the guy turned up haha

I may have to purchase the paper copy when I go into town tomorrow if its out yet.

I think I see some swirls on the blue one at the back.... needs a good clean I reckon.

That said, a good show... just needed a red one... or four...

I had no choice. It was to "add contrast" LOL... or summat. I got copped by @Syphon waterless washing my car at the services! Haha, well I cleared out Tescos and bought 3!

Probably the razor sharp edges on the reflections you can see :harhar:

Now now @Jimbobcook. We can’t help but be proud of our armed cars

We all have one thing in common though and it’s the main thing:

We love our SEAT’s. Whatever model, Whatever spec, Whatever Colour.
Here here! Red is actually my favourite colour in general lol just the blue mk2 has been my car to have for quite a while.
