Can I get Zimerman drilled discs for in 312mm diameter and if so anyone now where?

Or failing that does anyone have any recommendations for standard size discs.

For the rears, is there much involved to swap from solid to vented discs?

Cheers in advance

Ian

I had them on my old scirocco, and had no problems with them at all, is that from personal experience or has anyone ellse had problems?
My mate has them on his Corrado storm and again has had no problems.

I guess they should be ok for mainly road use, but would like to see if they can stand up to a track day.
Was just a thhought, might go with something else or just put standard ones on, but that would be a shame when it would be my first modification opportunity

bascially the hole is 'another' weak point for a crack to start.... so the fewer weak points you have the better. none being the ideal number.

They do crack, jason's not making it up & 700 miles isn't a long test. and lots of people having them tends not to count for a lot, if they never look.

I have a set of grooved brake discs 312x25 Front and 256 x 22 rear, both ventilated, got them of a guy on ebay who makes them, he is in northern ireland goes under the ebay shop name of mtec100, they are absolutely top notch quality and cost me under £200 for the set of four!, have run them since last feb so have put 25K on them running DS2500 pads all round, for the money they are an absolute bargain.
He did not list them but I e-mailed him and he put a listing for me as a buy it now and made them especially.
