Very nice! Has it got the aero wipers?

If those are the strips of rubber (so to speak!) only then yeah those are the ones. the colour is alot better than i was thinking it'd be. especially as i'd not actually seen an ibiza in the zenith grey before...
The photo doesnt do the car justice (altho im bound to say that!). Its having full audio replacement tomorrow - cant wait to get the decent sound system back.

Evening people,

The pics are on the link now (at the top of the page). These were taken off the camera phone.

I bought the eyebrows and wanted to see how they look before they are sprayed, so ive put them against the car, hence they are loose on the left light. I say it makes the front look like its frowning, anyone have any comments on them? (You have to imagine them in the grey colour.. hehe!!!).

> Chris, there are interior pics, but the one of the gearstick is blurred. Im afraid the camera phone doesnt focus...

> Dift, the convenience pack is side curtain air bags, cruise control, heated side mirrors with the park position (basically means i can p!$$ about folding them in & out!)

>Peterho, great choice of colour - as you said, we both have to say that!! :)

Thanks for everyone's comments about the car/colour etc. Oh yeah, its a shame the pic doesnt show the minute stone chip on the windscreen, which happened 1 mile after pulling out of the garage!! Its bound to happen at some point but its only like a tiny pin scratch/mark, so you can't see it unless you know where it is ....... S0ds law that is!!!!

Cheers!!!
About the stereo - I have a pioneer 8600mp head unit i bought over a year ago and that fits in without the fascia surround. I had about 4 pre-outs coming out of the back of the HU too... There isnt alot of room to play about with at the back of the HU.
Also i bought an amplifier connector for the aerial from halfords incase i needed it, but i didnt so thats going to be going back... The 2 connectors which went into the standard HU connected straight into the pioneer ISO connector which then went straight into the back of the pioneer stereo, so no adapter was needed.
Otherwise its a piece od p!$$ changing it...... come and join the tractor diesel club :D

the speakers werent in the car (parcel shelf) as standard? i can't appologise enough if thats a thick question.

I wish they were standard. Nah the back rear quarter ones were disconnected and then the wires were extended to the back... with the holes cut in the parcel shelf. They did ask if i wanted the 6*9's in the back quarter panels to replace the old ones but you can hear the sound more when in the parcel shelf. Cutting into a parcel shelf on a 1 day old car i know - what the hell!!!!

An audio place fitted the front & back speakers, sub & amp. All i did was the head unit as that was the easy bit (lazy i know!!)

What sidelights have you fitted?

They are ice white bulbs, i got them off a chap on ebay. I had them in my mazda and the same type fit the ibiza. The bulb looks blue but as you can see they look to be an ice white. I fitted them after work today.... it took about 5 mins for the passenger side and about 1 hr for the drivers side. Getting the casing off is no prob, but its a pain gettin the little casing back on - is really fiddly and you have room for one hand only (you'll see what i mean if you replace them)

PS - i have taken some more pics and you can see the lights alot clearer.
