hi all just purchased a 55 plate leon cupra r 225 in grey completely standard 40k miles mint condition now want to start modding but what first . were did you other modders start im thinking of dump valve to start whats your views regards mat

hi mat,

I started with a new Forge 007P DV and green panel filter (with smoothed airbox). In total that came to about £150 and a few hours work smoothing the air box. This might be a good place for you to start.

I'm looking at a Forge TIP next and better air flow to the airbox/filter. I'd also suggest a remap before getting a new exhaust - cause they cost a similar amount (£350) and its more bang for your buck.

yeah will do mate as soon as this country gives us day light when im not in work lol its metalic grey my favourite for the leon picked it up from leeds and had lots of fun on the way home very smooth power delivery love it

definatly need forge 007 and green panel and smooth air box. best value in my opinion.
i used a small hammer and chisel to break away th plastic vents and then one of those black and deker mouse sander thingys to smooth it. took half an hour.
and go for a remap the guys i got mine off were top blokes(see sig) standard 180, now approx 217. (rollers in jan) pulls like a train permanantly, and doesent that guy in his unmapped s3 know it. lol!!!!!!! love it!

Very nice and you got one in the best colour.
Are the grills missing from around the fog's ???
If you want an induction kit try smoothing your airbox first and fitting a high flow panel filter, it wont cost anywhere near as much and will have just as good results.

The grills are there, you just cant really tell on the picture, the full size picture you can see them, but are like 2MB a file if not more!

Might just smooth airbox with a panel filter for now if the weather gets bit better, to cold to beoutside doing stuff on cars!
