Xenon's fitment on a mk3

Has anyone got aftermarket xenon's fitted to there mk3?

How and where are the ballast's mounted? and how is the wiring fitted to the back of the headlamp units for power?

Done a searchy but can't find anything:shrug:

Any pics/info would be great!!;)

Fitted it to my wifes car... Ballast is hidden somewhere around the bumper bar I think on one side & on the chassis leg on the other

Wiring is zip tied & tucked away too.

they were gifted to me, but I think a set i've fitted to a Leon was about £140. equally good kit though.

it's not a car specific kit, it's Bulb type related

can't recall the brand - was just some taiwanese firms

how does the wiring go to the back of the headlight? Cause there is a plastic cap that covers/protectors the back of the headlamp.

Do holes need to be made?

Yup - I made a pilot hole & got out the trusty 25mm wood bit & ran it thru slowly - then all the wires poke thru the grommet (25mm inner dia) and it's perfect :)
