No, go for a recommended part, if its not made for your car it will most likely send the ECU the wrong airflow data as ECU will 'think' it's a normal part made specifically for your car, meaning you'll pobably get all sorts of fuelling problems: Loss of power, knackared Cat, and if it runs too lean, knackared engine components.
Yeah, fair play, i understand where you're coming from. I can only say i was pleased with the one i fitted, didn't have any problems and i do care for my motor.
