Would these calipers be ok?

Just seen these on ebay

Emailed the person selling and he said they will fit.

Do you think they would be ok and if so what else would i need to fit them?

Seems like a fairly cheap way of getting that Bremo look......

You may have to get some carriers for them. Not sure if the std. Mk4 ones are the same so could be worth checking before you buy.

Guessin but you need if going for 312mm setup:

312mm discs
1 set of brake pads, you'll need to know what shape and size
312mm carriers approx £85
may need new hoses - doubt it

Hmmm so looks theres more involved than just getting the new calipers.

Just been looking at the kits on there http://www.compbrake.co.uk/index.htm

Again its looking like the £500+ price for a kit

Man i wish i had got a cupra now, much less hastle lol

I needed calipers, carriers, discs and pads as mine was an 03, later 04/05 plates need the carriers, discs and pads.

Go for the genuine stuff and pay £500 for Brembos, or buy my TT setup

yer i was only looking into it cos i want red calipers, but the bremo look ones.

I think just painting the existing calipers looks pants.

How much do u want for your setup mate? What is it btw?
