wont turn over

does the seat alhambra have a cut off switch as my engine wont turn over,after i tryed to fix the back door as it wouldnt close i had to slam it a bit
there is a clicking noise comming from the gear selector,and its an automatick gearbox

Depending on the fuel/engine type the cut off switch is either part of the PCM or tucked under the front passenger seat? IIRC? it's most likely the inhibitor switch on the gear selector, try wiggling the selector stick why you turn the key? the switch is adjustable? so it may have worn or totally failed! try bypassing i, remove the selector display trim and short out the switch!
also whats the LED on the door doing while you try starting the car?

thanx bud sorry for delay been away,my seat is a deisel,and the light on the door is flashing,and i have had a look for a switch under the seat and theres none,took it up to a garage now,so hope to get it fixed soon thanx again for your help,,,,
