a fecking stupid question comming from me.

i have been driving for nearly 5 years now, i have constantly found that bosh wipers are the dogs balls for about 2 -4 months then they start to deteriorate, and soon become totally usless.

well i am at that stage where i need to replace mine ASAP as they are not working at all. so what are the best wipers i can get for the money...and i dont want to be paying £20+ on a set of blades.

Cheers

Adam

are they worth it thought for £25 ? or do they just perish and stop working after a short time like most other bosch wipers

i use valeo x-trm blades, the aero looking ones, no probs with them, they've been on for ages now, plus they wipe very well at speed unlike the normal type ones, cost me about £20 :)

ive got the aero wipers from wiperblades.co.uk only had them for about 4 months now and still fine. Before that i was using original bosch blades like you were using and they would last fine for up to two years no problems. used to regularly clean with isopropyl alcohol to keep clean and also reseat them so they arent parked in the same position for a long time.

by reseating i just mean lifting and pusing the flexy blade bit the otherway. When the wiper park they end on a down stroke meaning the blade is left pointing up the windscreen, occasionally i lift the blades a little and put them back down with the flexy blade bit facing downwards. Just so its not sat in the same position for days on end if its not used. or even weeks in the recent dry spell we had.
