Winter Freeze has killed my Ibiza :(

Hi All,

Not sure if anyone has had this problem before?

2.0 16V GTI

Basically i was driving and the engine just died on me, the only sign i have is a flashing OIL light when trying to start?

Its been fine in -5 temps! But now its +3 it seems to have killed it

the spark plugs seem to be only giving off one spark, so im thinking maybe coil pack?

anyone got any ideas??

Sounds suspiciously like a failed/failing crank speed sensor to me... Same symptoms when mine first went.

Nope it isnt that, I havent had the above part 'go' with me yet. So I dont want to jinx myself.
