Wing mirrors...folding?

I've just picked up my FR. Maybe I'm being really stupid but I don't seem to be able to fold in the wing mirrors. I can only assume they are foldable. Don't want to force. Fell a bit of a lemon.
Any advice appreciated.

check dial in centre console by handbrake should be able to turn this and they will fold in, other than that when locking the car hold down the locking button on remote for few secs and they will fold in also

Fold mirrors in by -

Turning the wing mirror dial infront of handbrake to 6 o'clock
turn to 12 to heat them
turn to 11 to move the left mirror
turn to 1 to move the right mirror
(Don't leave it on 12 - or it'll always be heating the mirrors, I leave mine set to 11 o'clock.)

When you lock the car hold the lock button in for 5odd seconds and the mirrors will fold in, if that fails, then unlock the car and lock it again holding in the lock button for 5 odd seconds.

If you've folded the mirrors in using the key method, then once you start the key, it will unfold the mirrors automatically for you.

This is one the funniest questions Ive read on here for a while!

What a bonus though, free electric mirrors!

i for once didn't know that its going to have folding mirrors, only found out when I actually got keys to the car and had a good look around it.

you do have to have the key fob facing the car when holding for a few seconds for the mirrors to go up I've found...

Don't hold the button too long (beyond the mirror starting to fold in) or your windows will open, unless they are already open and then they will close.

Also adjusting mirrors in 1 o'clock switch position (R for right) will adjust both, so do that first and then 11 o'clock (L for left) after

If your mirrors creak, squeak, chatter or groan when folding get them changed under Seat warranty if you have one still

I've not tried it on the key, just flicked the mirror switch. Will give it a go tomorrow!
