I had my MOT today. I picked the car up tonight once the garage had shut. The drivers side wing mirror when I unfold them (electric) folds all the wa round and points forward. The passenger side one is normal but I hve never had this happen before. Any ideas

yep - take it back and ask the garage to fix it!

Sorry no idea apart from that - mine once didnt unfold but that was because I had unfolded it manually and it hadn't clicked back in - tried moving it to different positions and trying the button again?

My passenger one does that. Unfolds and try's to wrap round the A pillar. Is there no way to fix this but buy a new mirror? Sounds bad as mine got knocked forward and now only folds in right but goes all the way forward 180!

That's exactly what mine did guys. When I took it off I compared it to the new one and sounded like loose plastic inside. I'm not saying there is not another way but I didn't find it.

I've jus been told to disconnect the battery for 5 mins and to reconnect it! Might see what that does

I had this issue, Mine started when i had manually folded the mirrors in and then tried to unfold electronically. It moves the motor position and seems to throw the mirror out of sequance . What you need to do is to try and get the motor back in the original position. Keep doing it manaully and they trying the switch to see if its worked. If you cant get it to work you have probablly broken the lugs and a new baseplate and motor is required.. ... These are not cheap !!
