Windscreen

sorry for staring all these threads, but best to have one for each topic ;)

Anyway, I recently asked on another site what to use to get bugs of etc. Got some ok advice.

Anyway, when I cleaned the other day I used Astonish Insect and Tar Remover (because my aunty sells it £1 a bottle in her shop). It worked fine.

But my problem is, even when I've cleaned the windscreen as well as i possible can, it still never look sparkling! Plus two days later it looks a mess again and when that happens I get a feeling that the car in general looks filthy - because i can see muck, i assume everyone else can!

Anyway, can anyone recommend the following products I'd need for:

Getting the windscreen sparkling to start with (inside and out)
Maintaining that sparkle!

Also, should I put something "special" in the washer tanks? Or even better wiper blade? (is there a difference with the blades???)

Once again, cheers for reading

Try claying your windscreen when you get some, will get rid of all the crap thats on there. Also get some decent wipers and you should be ok.

cheers guys. I would have tried clayin (obviously i would have asked on here 1st :D)

wasnt sure if claying the windscreen would be ok lol.

I'm assuming then, you can clay the entire car, paint, windows, lights, num plate etc
