Any recommendations of Window Tinters in B'ham region ???

Looked at search and all recommended tinters are a decent drive, some local places reviews not the best either.

Looking at prices, film %'s, warrenty and distance from B'ham city centre.

Thanks Guys

My Cupra was tinted by the dealer when it was their demo car, they used Pentagon http://www.pentagon-birmingham.com/. I dunno how much it cost them but I have no complaints about the quality of the work.

I also know of a guy in Digbeth thats does tinting, he is a bit more flexible with what amount of tint you want on the front windows, if you get my meaning  I havent seen his work personally but have heard good things, and he always seems to be busy..I will PM you his number when I get into work 2moro if you are interested ?

slimtater how long you had your tints done??? are they still top quality??? and what %age are they???

I have emailed liam @ tinter for a quote.

Looking at 35% front, 20% rear and Limo rear screen (to hide future install.)

I wouldnt mix and match mate, keep the same all round for a good finish! It looks out of place all uneven shades!

Which way round are the percentages, 20% is 20% light allowed through, i.e darker than 35%?

Legal limit/stock tint is ~75% isn't it?

Had them done nearly 2 years ago and they are fine.
Mention this and the uk-mkivs forum and you may get a decent price. See : http://www.uk-mkivs.net/forums/thread/269039.aspx
50% front sides and 35% rear sides/rear screen. Despite Mitchy's comments in his post, they look fine and you are less likely to "aggrevate" the law if your fronts aren't as dark. Look at my album below for more pictures.

Yes 2 shades front and back may look okay but bhp addict is on about 3 shades!

Its too much of a contrast imo.

 Read his post again!! Sorry.

Having said that, because the rear screen has a large c pillar between it and the rear sides, you may get away with it.

they do look proper dark in some pics, but think its the angle of the dangle

Ye the rear screen will be ok and wont stand out too much cus you car rarely see 3 windows at same time.side 2 I want as close shade as poss that why I'll have the same as slimtater. You can hardly tell tbh. The rear screen then will be 'on its own' kinda thing.

Tinter emailed me back with £150 and takes 2 hours.
Ringing Dozers mate in Digbeth this week so will post that quote too.

Thanks for the reply guys, good to know whos recommended and who not to trust lol.
