Window tinting

I have a white ibiza & am getting the windows tinted this saturday coming,but am unsure whether to go for 20% or 35%
I want the tinted window look,but on the other hand dont want it too dark.
ive googled pics to try & find white cars with both shades to see what it would look like,but its proving difficult to find!
Does anyone have any input or a white car with either shade so i can see please?!

I went for a 20% on my red Ibiza, it is pretty dark but doesn't affect vision out if the rear window to much. Looks wise I think I would of regretted it if I went lighter.

Thanks for your reply,it really does help me to get a visual idea! I thought 20 on a white car would look really dark (more so than on a dark car,if that makes sense?!),but yours looks good..tempting!

Look at a white cupra because they have a factory tint which is around 20%, I put a picture up but I don't have any that show it well
I personally don't think it's dark enough and I'm having mine done t 15% next week I think

My cupra, although black... has a 20% tint and I'd rather go for 35%!

what kinds of costs are you looking to get tinted? mines a 5 door and no one wants to touch it or wants too much (in my opinion) best quote for back 2 windows rear window and them 2 small side windows is 350

Wow really! Mine is also a 5 door,so for the back 2 windows,rear window & the 2 triangles i was quoted £120 by A P tints in yeovil,somerset. I did a google search of window tinting near me & most seemd to range from £130-£150.

Id pay around that. They reckon the 5 dr is too hard. Hmm ive tried 3 places around me 2 well known and one a local business.

thats more like it though that still means they value the 2 tiniest bit of glass at 40 - 50 quid worth of tint

I did my window tint 2 weeks ago. 35% it's perfect.

That looks really nice,im slightly worried now as my car has gone in to be tinted and i opted for the 20%. Will post pics when i get it back & when i get a chance.

I think 20% is too dark. Maybe the company can show you an example tomorrow. So you can see in real life the different between 20 and 35.

I did see some examples! He held up the actual roll of tints against some glass with a white wall behind. Oh well,im sure i will like it still (fingers crossed!)

Ive got to work out how to post pics,i have an ipad & dont kno how to do it!
I picked the car up on monday,later than planned as disaster had struck... Whilst fitting the last window back into place (they were fully removed to tint,i dont kno if this is the norm?) he then shut the door & the glass completely shattered! So he had to order a replacement window,at his cost (phew to me!)
Got to say he did an amazing job & im really pleased with the result,its like a different car & i dont regret going 20% either.
So today i took the car to the car wash as it was certainly not white after driving through lanes & hope to take pics to then upload to here

Well oddly enough im a window tinter (total tinting brombrough wirral) i tinted my bezza in 18% its the shade you get for privacy glass i think its the perfect shade but i do like 5% limo black on white and black ibizas finishes the over all look nicely
