the glass is only £47 excess is £60

OK mate - I think its 10 posts so you are nearly there!!!!

The glass comes out very easily but the door card is a bit of a mare. Its easily achievable though, you will need a set of Torx bits though I remeber one is a T20 can't remember the other size will go and look!

£13.00 for fitting is a bargain..........considering the hassle factor and no come back if you fook it up

i no what you mean, but the last time i claimed for a windscreen i got stiffed by my next insurance another £50 onto of the £50 excess already paid and they said i was not insured untill i paid up.had to pay as i had just bought a new leon fr mk 1 at the time.

Hi, Basically you remove the cloth bit of the door card, ull have to remove parts of the handle to do this.

Once you have that off wind the window down so you can see the clamp bolts behind where the cloth bit would of been. Undo these not fully just enough for the window to slip out.

Takes abit of jiggery pokery but it will come out. Probably not the best description, but ull understand when you are doing it.

When you have done it once its fairly straight forward.

Good luck!

Don't suppose you took some pics while doing it? Brave though, I would not attempt it.
