Hi all,

The other day, while trying to put the passenger window down, I heard a snapping sound and the window failed to open. When i tried moving it down by hand it fell down into the door itself! oh dear!:headhurt:

After taking the door panelling off I have managed to get to the route of the problem. On the left hand side of the window regulator (i think that is the correct terminology, I just call it the window mechanism), there is a metal braket which the window sits into, there should also be a small white clip thing that has snapped off.

Getting hold of this clip thing or the bracket is proving to be a mission

Has anybody had this happen to them at all?

Would anybody have any idea what this part may be called?

I dont live anywhere near a SEAT garage and am hoping to try to source this part on its own obviously

I suppose a trip to the scrappy might be in order

thanks guys;)

I've had this happen also mate. typically it happened on a day of torrential rain and had to drive the 15 mile trip to work with the window down getting soaked.

The clips are available, no need to buy a new regulator. as Lee says try seremotors. David is a legend for help and parts.

Same thing happened to me. I bought a kit from ebay that was relatively easy to fix, search on ebay for "leon window regulator". There is one listed at the moment number 320423736780
