you sould be able to check the maf sensor values which will give an idea to power levels.
you can check requested and actual boost, which may indicate if there is a leak or not.

and i think there may be an air pressure deviation fault if the dv is knackered, although its probably a good idea to test the dv manually.

what DV do you have? original OEM or aftermarket like forge?

if forge, there is lots of info on here, or the forge website i think.
but.. remove it, push up piston inside using pen or fingers small enough, then put a finger over the small pipe on the top of the unit to form a seal. then release the piston. it should drop a little but not all the way and then hold, this shows its not leaking.

its much the same process for the oem dv, but this is a diaphram type not piston. also it will be harder to remove as it will have once fit clips onthe pipework.

What is the issue or symptoms that you are getting with your car?

I would certainly recommend spending some good time inspecting all the pipework, take your time and be thorough, many people have had issues for some time and its been due to a hard to find leak or crack in pipework

Cheers andy. I'll give that a go...and just for the record its the oem dv starting a new job monday after been redundant for 4 weeks so new forge one will be fitted soon. Symptoms...there isn't many really. Fuel consumption is through the floor at the mo. So was thinking boost leak or something, and it just feels like its not boosting very well. Doesn't feel like there's much pressure. Whats the standard psi for the lc? Is it 6psi?
