Will the audi t headunit fit?

whilst suveying the cabin of my new car (leon mk1) I've noticed that the headunit may well be the same size as the TT head unit. I don't suspect there's a cat in hell's chance that they'd be interchangeable?

Doesnt the TT have a built in sub like the A3? Mean a lot of rewiring?, but physically speaking I'd of thought it would... I'd just go aftermarket though! Each to their own!

I do agree, thats why i was quite picky in chosing a headunit which matched the interior of my car (ish!) same colour buttons etc... But back ontopic, think it should fit, I know my headunit would fit in an A3 and visa versa! So long as its a hu from the same ageish

I cant be sure... but im sure the S3 will ahve the same BOSE stuff and also the head unit does fit.

The dash is the same.

Check though, because some LEONS do have Bose speakers.....

All the investment may no t be worth it... you may not note a huge difrence in sound...

Ive considered it too... mainly because of the Bose Sub.

Had a mate with an S3, didn't think that the sound was better than the Aura system in my LC. Think a lot of it is todo with the small rear speakers. It never sounded as rich, even with the sub cranked up.

I dont like the calculator display on the 'normal' head unit. I'd prefer the TT job. If i can find one cheap enough i may well botch it in.

As for the bass speaker, to be fair i find the standard set up quite good so I only want to change the unit itself.
