Surely the LC doesn't have anywhere for one to go on the passenger side, not to mention no air-flow like the LCR has from the bumper?
As above it needs the LCR bumper to supply the mounting points and scoops
Also LC is twin pass to feed and return same side
LCR is single pass, feed one side return other

You could fit them making your own brackets and routing your own pipework infact there was a US company [EDIT - ECS not EIP] who did an 'extra' SMIC conversion and pipework for MK1V Golf platform cars.......have a search.
OR
You could do what Robdon did and switch to an LCR style intake manifold and LCR intercooler setup, it's a fair amount of work, sensors, throttle bodies etc all to be moved......but it's do-able
