will it void my warranty?

got a 1.4 sport and hopefully getting a cupra backbox if i can sort out a collection, will this void my warranty?

i know they say some things will void it and some things wont but what about this?

straight forward enough to fit as well?
will be keeping the original pipe work just chopping it off at some point. anyway of making it so i can just unbolt it and stick the original back on if i need to like in the case of an insurance claim lol
or do you think i could get away with it cause its not like its a performance mod and it is a Seat product, will be buying the lower bumper part from Seat with the cutout in it so will look original

insurance are buggers about stuff like this....

warranty wise - it'll only invalidate the exhaust I should think.

Any changes you make to a standard car will only void the warranty if it can be proved that the changes you made directly affect the performance of the car to a detrimental effect.
Is this a brand new car or new to you with an after market warranty?

It will only void the zorst warranty if they spot the back box is different

although I think you can get a seat sport tail pipe exactly like the cupra one in the accessories list

i got it brand new at the end of june
will be a year old on 29th may acording to the stickers all over it so will still have the 2 years left.

personally if I had a dodgy zorst on a 1 yr old car I would expect the stealers to argue that it was a ware and tare item anyway

Note! Just my opinion. Don't blame me if it all goes wrong.

Amongst other things I've got a remap, HID's, changed my front pads and I'm about to fit wheel spacers.
My car was brand new on June 29th 2006.

Just my two pence worth on the insurance angle.

All motor insurance policies will have a clause somewhere in them about "modifications". Basically any change from standard spec should be mentioned to your insurers. Believe it or not, but even changing the ICE in a car should be brought to their attention (IE. could make car more attractive to thief's etc.). I worked for General Accident for a number of years in motor insurance and you would not believe the mods some people make to their car, then have an accident, and try and throw their hands in the air and say something like "I did not realise you needed to mention things like this". Mind you... just because you mention something to your insurer, does not necessarily mean they will load your policy. Also, different Insurers have different attitudes to different mods.
