Will it go..19x8J ET50 on 235/35/19

Hi all,

I’m new here on the board and live in the Netherlands.
For a month or 5 I have a Leon Mk2 Sport-Up 2.0 TFSI.

i’m looking around for some new wheels. Thing is, i have found 19” wheels, but my biggest fear is rubbing issues with passengers of speed bumps. My car isn’t lowered yet.

specifications of the wheels:

19” 8J ET50 , with 235/35/19 tyres.

Looking for some advice and experience form people who have driven or deiving with 19’s on a MK2.

The 18’s are 8.5J ET45 225/40/1
The 19’s are 8J ET50 235/3519
My plan is to lower with eibach sportlines, but I want to avoid rubbing wirs passengers or steering..

I’m leaning towards to the 18’s… bit little bit stressed about the 8.5 width and ET45 with loweing in the future
