will gti headlights fit into a 1.4

good luck finding urself a set though, i waited ages for some and ended up not having any luck so just had to replace my cracked one with another 1.4 version

some of the early GTI's had H4 lamps,so be careful what you buy,or you may end up with the same as your 1.4 anyway.

H1`s i think..... well thats what i used in my 16V.

1.4 have a set of H4 for main headlights.

2l 16v - have 2 H1 in each lamp. Looks a bit nicer and they are a bit brighter.
I think the 2l 8v is H4 too.

Facelift 2.0 8v's have the 2xH1 lamps Jase - the prefacelift ones have the 1xH4 lamps tho...

Hi

Would it be alot of work to swop 1.4 headlights to GTi ones? The 1.4 is the pre face lift. Also would it just plug in striaght in as the gti ones have 2 bulbs and the 1.4 has one?
