Will a Golf mk4 towbar fit a Leon? I've seen a few cheap ones on ebay and in the local paper. I've also seen several on ebay which claim to fit Golf/Bora/leon/Octavia etc but I am not sure whether they mean the same one fits all or they will supply the correct one.

I have searched but only found one post asking the same question but with no answers.

Need to tow my new toy (speedboat) around without having to borrow cars each time and without spending too much money.

Cheers

Ring Indespension The Witter Tow Bars Fit All Just Have To Cut Bumpers Differntly On Different Models

Any chance of that in English??? Steve, I think you have to cut a slot in the bumper so it wont go on as standard. What sort of boat have you got yourself? I'm a regular boater myself, have a half share in a Sea Ray Bowrider with a mate.

I presumed I might have to cut the bumper, although I think you can get a blanking plate from Seat to cover up the hole. Would prefer to have a removable one really.

Just got a 15' boat (can't remember the model) with 70BHP outboard. Oil injection, power tilt etc. I'll mostly be going out from tuckton/mudeford although I will investigate Poole too, Baiter Park etc. I've been told about a slipway at Hamworthy too.

Ours is only 18' with 135hp inboard .... Baiter is probably your best bet but you need to get down early especially on Saturday as parking is restricted, on Sundays they expand the carpark onto the grass as so many jetskiers go from there... its £8 for the day for car and trailer inc launching which isn't bad.
