Has anyone managed to sort this yet? I've resorted to resetting my phone, trying my partners phone and an iPhone. No luck.

I have a LEON SE DYNAMIC TSI EVO TSI EVO SE DYNAMIC 2021, running MO13_EU_SE_R9400L.
Connect app expired and I don't plan to renew.
I use Android auto connected wirelessley to the infotainment system.
Samsung S24 Ultra
One UI 6.1 (6.1.1)
Android 14
Android Auto 12.8.643614-release (128643614) - I was orginally in the beta programme but have since changed to the stable version.
Issue
Vehicle WIFI not working
Wireless android auto not working
Wifi hotspot not working
Wired android auto working (but intermittent connection)
What I have tried to resolve the issue.
1) Completely reset head unit and setup again as primary user
2) Rename head unit wifi and passcode
3) Reset all network settings on my mobile device
4) Since purchase, all head unit updates have been done over the air
5) Connected car to home wifi and waited for an update. (It does connect to my phones hotspot and my home router ok)
6) Attempted to connect my partners Samsung Fold 6. (Same issues)
7) Purchased a data plan for the head unit
8) After data plan purchased, attempted to connect to the head units WIFI hotspot
- The phone won't connect to the hotspot stating that it could not obtain an IP
9) Contacted dealer who doesnt know a solution without bringing it in. They did advise a later software verision was available 1969 but because it is out of warranty, would charge to update at the dealership.
10) Factory reset phone.
I am at a loss at what to do. I do a lot of driving for a living and rely on android auto.
I tried connecting an iphone and this seemed to work wirelessly with apple car play but again was intermittent.
Any guidance would be appreciated.
