I have a 03 plate facelift cupra and am looking at getting some new wheels and saw these on ebay which match the fitment to my car.

they are 9.5" wide...will any work need to be done for these wheel to fit?

Also looking at these alloys:

I would go for the first set! They look sweet! 9.5" that would be 235's wouldnt it?? If so you wont have any trouble fitting them under the arch!

the front arches will need to be pulled and flared as i run 8.5 x18 et30 on the front of my cupra and they stick out 3-5mm from the arch, so 9.5" will stick out out aprox 20-25mm pass the arches on the front

Kenny. Have you had to have the arch work done on yours?
Reason i ask is i've just bought some rondell splitty's that are the same size as yours 18x8.5 et30. I was hoping they'd be a straight fit :(
I'm hoping to drop it on eibach springs soon as well so could do with knowing the score to budget accordingly.

i have no arch work done to mines , but the car is on coilovers and lowered just abit more than springs will let you , remember the lower you drop the car ,you will get more neg camber on the front wheels so they sit closer the arch lip. the rears will fit fine

Thats made feel much better mate :) I had visions of having to spend £'s getting arch work done. I was even considering going down a width in tyre to add a bit of stretch. It sounds like lowering it will actually help matters :D
