hello.
for some reason the guy who had my leon before me had cut away part of the front bumper. i didnt notice it when i picked it up, and now its annoying me.
im guessing it was for the sprinter intercooler, which came with it, but still needs fitting, though it still wouldnt fit in that gap? any ideas??

Sorry to go on a side path but what are the wheels in the picture , love them. And is there any issue with offset and do you use spacers?

the plates are for shows, though ive never used them myself.
wheels specs.

the wheels are actually porsche fitment and have been re-drilled to fit the leon, but i have no idea what make they are, as they have no name on them.

the fronts are 17x8 et 14 with 205/40/17 tyres and the rears are 17x9 et 14 with 215/40/17 tyres.

all i can think is that the cut out must be for the intercooler, though like you said adam, he seems to have cut out way too much.
any ideas what a new front bumper costs?

They do, but you can get 3 points and a heavy fine for using them on the road!

I had one (rear) fitted to my old '79 mini van. I re-sprayed the rear doors and broke the standard yellow plate removing it, so fitted my show black and silver one for a couple of days. got pulled over on the second day. He gave me a £30 fine and told me i was lucky not to have got 3 points!
