I've had a play again.
album view 2006-07-15 - started at 11, finished at 2:30pm, will clean the interior tomorrow

Swirls are still there, i'm just getting used to PC'ing the car with AutoGlym SuperResinPolish.

You (Iain) were right, it only masks/filled in the swirling to make them less obvious,
swirling came back after the SRP was washed off that morning.
(SRP was applied a back on 30-Jun-06 roof detail 2006-06-30)

Products used so far are:-
Simoniz shampoo (2-buckets,tesco mitts, and MF's)
Megs clay detailing kit (by hand)
AG SRP (using PC)

The SRP bottle is almost empty, so time to upgrade my products to

What's with this thing of having to photograph your own nipples in reflection shots - first Iain and now you? If I did that we'd have to declare the thread not worksafe.

They were probably still in bed with blokes who had dirty cars

You're right about needing more pads and cloths than you think at first - just washing it yesterday and sealing it today, I've used :

Wash mitt
Megs Water Magnet
1 x MF towel for cleaning the wheels and tyres
1 x MF towel for cleaning the glass
1 x MF towel for the interior
1 x MF pad for sealing the wheels
1 x MF pad for sealing the paintwork
1 x MF towel for removing sealant

Makes it a lot easier when you've got all of this stuff to hand and you don't have to worry about rationing it out.
