I have done a search on this so i know what the problem might be either N75 or N249.
I have a forge 007 fitted and a cia so i can hear what the dv is doing quite loud when acelerating i can hear a whoooshing noise i know its not a split boost pipe because i can hear it ecoeing in the cia my dv is 1 month old i changed from a baileys dv30 because of the whooshing i thought it was sticking
so if any body has had a similar problem did changing the N75 or N249 actually cure the problem all the posts i have read sugest this but none seem to say if it was a cure or not. thanks :)

Are you sure you're not just hearing the turbo sucking up air? If it seems to be louder from the passenger footwell area and it stops when you take your foot off the accelerator, then I'd hazard a guess that it's the air intake rushing in that you're hearing :)

Try this... find a quite, straight road. Turn the stereo off so you have no background noise. In 2nd or 3rd gear, accelerate gently and listen for the turbo noise and this 'whoooshing' noise too. If you hear it, let your foot off the throttle and you should hear the DV dumping air into the intake pipe. Do it again and the same will happen. If this is the case, I'll stick with my first guess of turbo sucking in air :)

Mine "wooshes" a fair bit. No problems with it, just the turbo as far as I know. Wooshes more in colder weather as well!

mine whistles rather than whooosh! Definitely a leak post turbo, but god knows how I'll find it! as it doesn't do it when the car is free revving under no load, only when driven.

I'm thinking between turbo and intercooler, but need it up on ramps to find out, unless you guys know different?

All turbos whistle a bit when on boost. If it's excessive though you may have a problem, but if it's just a nice subtle whistle, that's quite normal.

I think mine is excessive. It sounds kinda like trying whistle with your mouth, but blowing the air through your teeth! lol
