A wheel bearing is usually a low pitched groaning... You can usually test a bearing by going round a corner faster, if the weight is on that bearing (right hand corner in your case) the noise will amplify.

What kind of speeds does it do it, clutch down/up, different gears? Can you hear it with windows down etc?

Seems to be coming from the rear NS at speeds above 20mph all the way up to whatever speed I am doing. Doesn't get any louder or faster and does it with clutch in or out.

Wont be your wheel bearing then! Could be your wing mirror! Mine used to whilste above 50mph :D

It did go nicely with my dodgy wheel bearing I had for 10,000 miles and the usual rattles and bumps :D

oh, im gonna book mine into dealers. mine doesnt whistle @ all. feel like im missing out
