Whistling

Seems my car has developed a whistle which seems to be coming from the NSR. Possibly a bearing?

A wheel bearing is usually a low pitched groaning... You can usually test a bearing by going round a corner faster, if the weight is on that bearing (right hand corner in your case) the noise will amplify.

What kind of speeds does it do it, clutch down/up, different gears? Can you hear it with windows down etc?

Seems to be coming from the rear NS at speeds above 20mph all the way up to whatever speed I am doing. Doesn't get any louder or faster and does it with clutch in or out.

Wont be your wheel bearing then! Could be your wing mirror! Mine used to whilste above 50mph

It did go nicely with my dodgy wheel bearing I had for 10,000 miles and the usual rattles and bumps

if its a 5 door check your rear windows are fully up
