I have a 2008 seat leon 1.9TDI 60,000 miles, just over a week ago i noticed a sucking/whistling noise coming from the passenger side top air blower. and then yesterday whilst driving the engine management light came on and then it said "emission workshop" on the dash, just wondering if maybe the sucking/whistling noise is linked with the emission workshop?
Another thing is just over 6 months ago the engine shot a piston into the engine head and destroyed the engine completely, so after a full engine rebuild here i am with another problem with the car. Ever since the engine blew up i have pretty much not trusted the car at all, i always think it is going to break on me AGAIN! so would either of these problems cause alot of damage if still driven? as i havent had chance to get it into a garage, and i have got to drive to work tomorrow but dont want to be driving the car if it will cause damage.
Also when i come to sell the car would people be put off by the fact it has engine rebuild? it was one of the weak BXE engines.
