which software version

just bought an ebay lead and have been searching this site for ages but cant seem to find which version software i need to down load, i know its 409.1 or 311 but there are six downloads to chose from, how do i know which to dl?
i have a 2000 ibiza cupra

yeah mate, thats the site i was on but theres 6 different dls under 409 and 311, bi-com, uni-com, twin-com, twin usb, max-com and iso-com, not sure which to dl.
it says to look at my interface to determine the name of my interface? where do i find this info? ive looked at the port under the dash couldnt see any writing or labels
any help appreciated

Are you saying that your eBay supplier did not state which version of VAG-COM his product is compatible with? Contact him and ask. He needs to provide drivers for it anyway. Without those it' doubtful you will get it to work. The drivers on our web site are intended for the interfaces we manufactured. They will most likely not work with your wire.

You will be downloading either 409.1 or 311.2 - as one of these should work with your wire.
