Hi people,
I am looking at replacing my seats as i think they are quite pants at offering support and assistance whilst cornering, I'm starting to get fed up with gripping the steering wheel and leaning on the center console as if my life depended on it!

I was wondering what advice and ideas people had?
I would love to fit S3 wrap-around seats but not sure if they would fit.

If anybody could let me know what seats would or would not fit it would be greatly appreciated.

S3 Mk1/2, TT, R32?
Thanks for taking the time to read.

The usual are the S3 and MK4 golf, skoda octavia vrs, don't know about the TT but if it does it will only be the fronts. the newer S3 seats don't fit the Mk1 leons without a lot of work.
Have a search there is loads on seats for your leon.

VAG cars from the same era are Plug-n-Play ( unsure about the TT though)

The others need a little work.

MK1 S3 = OK
MK4 Golf = OK
MK1 TT = ??? UNSURE.

MK II S3 = NO
MK 5 R32 = NO
MKII TT = NO

just a follow up to the above..................
which seats will do the best job, S3 or golf mk4?
on another thread i saw a picture of mk4 golf highline seats which look a bit deeper than the S3 seats, just thought that if i'm going to spend all my hard earned dosh i might as well get the best;)
cheers

mk.1 S3 or mk.4 R32 seats are your besr bet! you can make anything fit but you might need custom subframes for the seats, depends how far your willing to go. personally id go for either of the two ive mentioned as their a direct replacement and great seats, ill be goin for some S3 when find some

There are about 3-4 types of Recaros features in the Golf 4. All are cool.

One set is practically identical to Cupra and the other to the LCR.

I own the S3 seats and love them to bits...

I guess its a matter of taste also...

If you ask me... S3 :funk:

S3 seats are also available in funky colour schemes , red, blue, alcantara - beije , grey , black and mixed leather formats... ( Electric too.)

True..... Nothing is impossible....

Just takes a shyt load of work, and I am not sure if i´d do that on mine.

Subframes, welding , cutting and Bassstardizing the whole setup....... not for me thanks.

Then you cant go back to OEM without extra hassle also...

There was a Black Leon (Huge Porker brakes) here with MKII Audi A3 seats in Red here...

See the Best Looking LCR thread... that car is features there...
