Hi guys,
My girlfriend just picked up a 1.4 mk3 Ibiza the other day, and on the way home she lost her dipped headlights for a few seconds and then they returned. She has lost the headlights a few times during normal driving since then, but also if she uses her full beam then turns it off, the dipped headlights go off with it. At first i thought it was a problem with the switch, however when i swapped the switch unit with the one from my cupra to test this theory, we found that the problem persisted, thus it is definitely not a problem with the switch.
I took it to my mate at audi to look at it and he says it could be a relay sticking. What do you guys think? Also, does anyone know which relays control the dipped headlights and full beam so i can swap these over for the ones from my cupra to test.
Thanks again,
Greg
