Which of these Mk.4 Golf GTI parts will fit a Leon

Hi Guys,

i've forgotten my login details, i was previously dj_hektik....

anyway some of you may remember I had a nasty accident with my previous Leon FR and it was written off ... I got a Mk.4 Golf GTI (AUM 1.8T) after that.

Anyway I've been having serious problems with my Golf and not the ECU is fried. Luckily an opportunity came up to "buy" another Leon (finish off someone else's financing). It's a 2006 FR - the last of the FR's (leccy mirrors, bodykit but not the cupra R shape, 17" 5 double spoke rims).

Anyway, The best thing I can do with my Golf is to scrap it - will get me a tidy sum since its not an accident damaged car and the engine and gearbox etc. are all mint.

Now I have a lot of parts I want to transfer over, I know most will fit, but there are some I have doubts about:

Full 3" turbo-back exhaust (42 Draft Designs)

will this fit the rear bumper? this is the one I have:

Interior Parts:

I have the 20th anniversary pedals and a matching MOMO shift knob. I know the knob will fit, and so will the pedals, but does anyone know if the dead pedal will fit?

Engine Parts:

My previous Leon had an AUQ, and so does the one I want to buy, and my golf has an AUM. Could someone confirm that they are the same hardware? only the ECU map means the Golf has 150 bhp and the Leon has 180?

i think the turbo is diferent mate, i think the AUM has the KO3 like the ibiza and the AUQ has the KO3S. not sure if this makes any difference to fitting any parts, but maybe the TIP might not fit. im sure some one else will back me up or correct me.

Thanks guys. I think it has the K03s but I'm not too worried about that as the same TIP that went on my previous Leon fitted my golf perfectly

I'm mainly worried about the exhaust as the new(ish) Leon I'm getting will have to have the rear section cut to remove - I know it will fit - mostly - but i'm worried about the tip position. I know the Cupra R has a different rear cutout in the bumper than the FR.....

If I do break the car I can practically ship (fairly) cheaply as I have 70% discount with DHL. I'm from Saudi Arabia mate. I can't make any promises now but what are you after?

matte black high-temp paint. I had the intake manifold off to replace the knock sensor, and did the valve cover at the same time

AUM engined golf is definately a K03S turbo. Mine is anyway;)

Thought so, but my ECU mapper insisted not, and loaded the K03 map

Anyway, does anyone know anything about the exhaust? I don't want to cut the Leon one off then find its too high/low or whatever. the other option is to use the downpipe only....
