Which MAF

Hi guys,

I have a Leon TDi SE 110, 51-plate.

The MAF went a few months ago, and I had a cash flow problem at the time, so I got the cheapest one I could get... apparently that's not a good idea... and it may be a coincidence but I do have the odd erratic idle from time to time now. So thinking I should get the proper OEM Bosch one back....

But, alas their seems to be a fair few of them.... which would I need, or where would I find the information to tell me which one I need... I found these.. they all see the same besides one which has the same 'gauze' in the image as mine does...

Thanks for any help in advance!

Also get a quote from SERE for a pukka VAG-supplied MAF? (SERE's prices are cheaper than mainland dealers.)

According to Andy at Arnie Levics, there was an internal VAG memo during 2010 advising that, in effect, not all Bosch MAFs supplied by independents are 'equal' - a statement that was, allegedly, backed up with comparative values-data.

Food for thought?
