Which hose is this ?

Hi,

Just noticed that I have a hose split just at the back of my engine bay next to the rear of the cover on my LCR. So looks like it is an excuse to get a decent set of hoses.
Anyone know what hose this is or called ? And what decent hose kit it may come with?

Thanks

Those two hoses come as a set from dealer at about 60 quid.
I recently bought a DV relocation kit and blocked existing and replaced pipe to N75 in silicon.
People have mentioned this before and i think when ordinary straight pipe it bent to this shape it collapses.
I am unaware of any existing replacement kit but forge maybe looking into this.
The pipe size is 25mm i think

I don't really want to replace it with a standard pipe again but would have preferred to change it to a silicone type. If I can't do that then I will look at the rolocation option.

Was their much work involved with the relocation and what kit kit would I need ? You mentioned blocking, does that all come as part of the relocation kit ?

Also anyone know if I should expect to lose and perfomance from this pipe split? Reason I mention is that the car seems to be hesitating a bit and the wind up seems to be slower than normal on the turbo lag recently. Also yesterday noticed(with my guage) that the turbo was only boosting to about 9psi instead of my usual of just over 20psi. Having said that, turned off the engine, restarted and it was fine after that.

Sorry for all the questions but it was about 2 years ago last when I did all the bits on my car, so very very rusty on everything now.

The pipe that split on mine was the smaller one.
There is not an upgrade for these pipe's at the moment.
Check the smaller one aswell as I think it was the hose clips that help to split mine.
As Ronin225 said they aree bout £60 for the pair.

Small one looks ok. But like you say the clip has caused the larger one to split. The angle does not help either.

D.Ks pipe was the one to the N75.
The pipe being split will cause a boost leak as its straight off the charge pipe and pre DV.
With the relocation kit a bung is provided for blocking the pipe that has split on yours, but they give you a length of 25mm pipe to re-route DV to TIP.
I cut a very short length of this and installed the bung and was able to remove existing pipework.
Now the port from charge pipe is blocked and pipe only sticks out 60mm ish

Cool. I will just cut a piece off the other end of the split pipe to allow the metal block to go in.

They give you a length of reinforced silicon pipe so use a little piece of this instead of existing crappy pipe.
I would put a pic up but using the browser on my ps3

Also dont forget to order a length of 8mm pipe for going to the N75 because the existing 2 pipes are wrapped up together so both need to be replaced.
If you PM me your e mail address i will try and send you some photos tomorrow
