Have done a search and not really found my answers.
I suspect that my release bearing is just starting to seize up so am going to be removing the gearbox soon when it gets worse. At the same time i'm going to replace the Flywheel for a G60 flywheel and the clutch for a vr6 item as i think there getting worn.
Thing is while looking for a flywheel i've noticed they do the stock 22lbs one and also lightened steel 14lbs one aswell as 7lbs ally ones.
Which flywheel would be best for me, i'm planning on getting around 240-280bhp eventually and mainly fast road use, and what would be the advantages and disadvantages of say the 14lbs one over a stock 22lb one.
Also is it worth going lightened for road use and would i notice the difference.
Any help on whether i should go for the stock weight or the lightened one would be very helpful.
Edit: Found out release bearings are same. Assume i need G60 flywheel bolts aswell (M10x1x19.5) or are normal ibiza flywheel bolts used (M10x1x22.3), are the normal flywheel bolts too long with G60 flywheel.
