which fuse?

right i'm putting my battery in the boot of my cupra, i've got all the power cable and connections ready but i want to fuse it next to the battery before i go running a fat power cable the length of the car.

does anyone have any recommendations of which fuse to use?

thanks chap, you are proving to be a helpful chap, unfortunately i'm at work and don't have the time to trawl through 20 pages of threads containing the word 'fuse' or maybe i'm doing it wrong....
