I'm looking to change the coolant temp sensor at the weekend on my PD130 sport.
I can't actually figure out the exact sensor needed as different places are saying different things.
ECP/CP4L don't list it, GSF do list one but don't have a replacement O-ring or retaining clip.
Darkside list 3 (genuine ones) but I don't think they have it correct for the Ibiza, the options are:
4-pin Green (059 919 501 A)
2-pin Grey 06A 919 501 A)
4-bin Blue/Dark Green (059 919 501) (Darkside list this one as for the ASZ Ibiza, but is that correct???)
Obvious thing to do would be to check the one on the car, but then can I be sure:
A: it's not been incorrectly changed once before
B: VAG/Seat didn't change the colours a few years back for a laugh.
Nearest Seat dealer is some distance away, otherwise I'd pop down there.
Can anyone shed any light, do they know the correct part number??
