which company for hybrid turbo?

Im guessing your talking companies that will map the car to suit the turbo?

In my own opinion, there are only 2 tuners I would choose from.

I chose RS Tuning in Leeds, due to good feedback from others who went hybrid with them, and because Paul is based pretty local to where I am.

The other who I would consider is Jabbasport. They've been doing the hybrid diesel thing for a while now, and seem to deliver the goods.

Before they dissapeared, I would have considered Allards too, as they were pretty much top of the game when it came to diesel tuning.

what mods have you done to your car and horsepower is it running?
how much did you pay for your hybrid turbo at rs tuning?

cheers

Full turbo back exhaust with de-cat and small silencer (de-cat is essential in my opinion)
SEAT Sport FMIC, with Spitfire Performance aluminium boost pipes.
Helix clutch and single mass flywheel (rated to 450ish ft/lbs)
PD160 Intake and Green panel filter
PD150 stage 2 hybrid turbo, from Turbo Dynamics.
RS Tuning mapping.

That saw 233bhp and I believe 385ft/lbs on the rollers. Not smokey either which is a plus.

Think for the turbo and mapping it set me back around £1700 all together.

Some companies seem to do it cheaper, but I'd rather go with one who know what there doing, and fork out that little bit extra.

i dont no who is the best, but from what i have read its only the recondision turbos people have problems with from Turbo Dynamics so just get a new hybrid turbo from them if you use them.

I wouldn't use TD as there after care is rubbish to say the least and there warranties aren't worth the paper there written on.

I now use CR Turbos which are much Cheaper, faster, more reliable and generally nicer to deal with.

Before I get Beasted I have both units. A TD Stage 2 MD 376 on an ARL Toledo and a CR Turbo 17-56vb on a Bora ATD

Why not try Turbo Technics at Northampton.
I cant speak highly enough about them. Had 3 turbos from them now, great prices fantastic service, I had an issue with one after 12 months, no messing about from they sorted staright away. (within 24 hours)

2nd C R Turbos. I've got a C R Turbos hybrid on my Ibiza, not been mapped properly yet but the price was good, the guy I was in contact with was really friendly when dealing with all of my questions and the turn around was real quick; it was something like less than a week from me placing the order to the new turbo arriving and they'd ordered the new standard turbo pretty much straight away

i have just waked my hybrid turbo on, i got the garret pd130 turbo with different internals. i used CR turbo charged me £585 in VAT which was by far the cheapest!

after remap (this wkend) and all the other mods mentioned above i should be seeing between 220 to 230 bhp!

i would recommend CR turbos all day! ask for mark (i think) - VAG specialist!

Is this a stage one hybrid? or stage 2? because I have been qouted alot more for both a pd130 unit, and pd150 unit:

The 130pd unit hybrid to stage 2 spec would be £865 plus carriage plus VAT.
The 150pd unit hybrid to stage 2 spec would be £895 plus Carriage plus
