Hi, iv just order'd a pelequin LSD...I need a new clutch and a flywheel to go with it. Then i can put it all in together.

Im sure i have seen a clutch/flywheel combo for sale for good money. But cant seem to find it now.

My cars currently on 237bhp...But i have plans to upgrade the turbo and work the head in the near future. I need a clutch that will handle the power, and a light weight flywheel.

Any suggestions on which ones to get?

Hi
We can do the Helix clutch kit.
This includes the single mass flywheel.
The dual mass flywheel is not the strongest in the world :)
They do go down and they are renown for going down and the torque is the thing that can kill it quicker.
The dual mass was put on to remove vibration in neutral , but fitting the single mass flywheel will give a bit more vibration , but not THAT much so it is undrivable.
The padal will feel OEM and the biting will be the same.
Dont go down the route of the paddle clutch as this will not give you a good biting point.
I have just priced up the clutch with the single mass flywheel and this would be £820.00 + VAT and I think at the moment that could be one of the best set ups that there is available for your car.
Availability is usually very good too
If you need any more info from me please feel free to give me a shout back

Is the flywheel provided any lighter than normal...Also, what power is this kit rated to take?

Thanks, jamie

Hi Jamie
Yes the single mass flywheel will be lighter than the dual mass.
The torque rating on this would be approx 480nm

i thought it would be less than that also...Not much..but i thought around the £700 mark...You pay for quality though.

I remember what i saw previously, it was a neuspeed package..was alot cheaper...but probably nowhere near as good.
