what car are they for?

Search for ferodo ds2500 and ebc discs

l C R 225

Do the ferodo's let of alot of dust coz with my current set of pads I'm always having to clean my wheels

are any of these disks grooved. Not important if they're not would just be an added bonus.

I have EBC Turbo-Groove discs and DS2500 pads and I think it's a very good combination. I did have red-stuff pads on when I bought the car and they're very good too, but they need to warm up really and there have been reports that the red-stuff/turbo-groove combination has caused cracking discs. I think this is on very old discs mind you.

Take a look in my RR thread (click the car below) and you should be able to see some pics of the discs in the Brembo Refurb section. I think they look the mutts nuts too, which makes them even better to me.

Of course, if you have the cash, two-piece discs would be better... I think AP Racing do some very good ones for the LCR (assume it's an LCR you have from your avatar?)

Gah, don't actually have any good pics of them in there, this is the best one:

I tend to buy brakes for ergonomics not aesthetics.
2 piece brakes very powerful and better with heat build up, depends on how good you want and how much you want to spend
Have a look in the badger 5 section, options and prices explained

You're quite right, I was just saying that looking good is an extra bonus on mine. Were on when I bought it though. When I need to replace them I'm going to look at two-piece discs

Two piece brakes are the way forward and i would recommend to anyone
Intial setup cost high but replacements cheaper, as only rotors replaced not bells
In a word they are ferocious

standard discs are pants (warp easily) but i have always been impressed with the standard pads. Not compared to ds2500 though.

i think i'm going to go for CRN discs (said he can do a curved 8 groove one) with DS2500 pads, without going for a serious track rientated pad i don't think you'll get better than the Ferodo's
