Want to look at my MAF tomorrow with VAg Com. Which tables should i look at on my TDI? Is there a procedure ie 4th gear 2k revs etc?

nope mark , dervs are different ,

3-7-11 , will give you maf and boost , requested versus actual , and also charge temps , nice n low revs , 3rd is good to the redline , try one block at a time to get a good sample rate , then maybe a few runs maf vs boost together , if u need a hand with graphs gimme a shout

EDIT i think 20 allows to see the MG/cycle on the injectors also

theres another two blocks , TBh as long as maf and boost is good ( actual =specified) then all should be good , no such things as timing angles and A/F ratios on dervs .

PS MAF should be greater than around 850 ( 1100 is excellant, boost is 1.34 standard tho shauns engine isnt lol, again , actual should be at least equal to requested , usually a small delay as boost builds then it meets the target all the way across

cool he will be running remapped 130 boost i would say which is better 3rd or 4th gear for readings?

3rd is good - no wheelspin (DIFF yeyy) and you are doing less speed at 5000revs , fourth is best as you get more samples per 100 revs and so the readings graphs etc are more accurate , tho you will be wrong side of 100mph ( 6 spd box)

he olny has 5 speed so not as bad
mines even worse 120 at 6.5k lol dont do much logging due to that!

yes msn is working for me, yea ill mail them over so you can see ill graph boost act v requested when looking at them what sort of shape should it be? does it have a boost spike like the ko3s or alot smoother

thats the shape of a healthy tdi MAF , pink is actual , you can see the lag down low ,




this is a boost curve on an early map ( my car) again see the delay as boost builds overboost is due to miltek DP as im led to believe



keep me posted on how this goes , wanna see how shauns goes

boost look like mine on my car really, but shouldnt see the spike on the standard dp and cat of shauns
what is the perfect line in the maf graph is that what it should exceed? ie what is good

i hope i dont have a problem, but i'm jsut curious. When it was mapped as a 130 the MAF was reading great, but it was 2nd hand of Mike Underhill

tbh i dunno how your logs will work , either it'll read as a normal MAF or else it will need a scaling factor , im unsure , will soon see when i get ut logs

ps msn is still broken
