I stuck mine in the lower right-hand corner. Looks best there imo.

I used clear sealant (like bathroom/kitchen sealant I think). I attempted superglue first, but no joy. So tried the sealant and it was great. Cos it's thicker and didn't dry that quickly I was able to get it in the right place with enough contact to hold it securely.

Best to do this in a garage at this time of year though. And if possible leave without driving until fully dry (at least 24hrs usually)

I would use Araldite personally. It sets harder than superglue but you mix it as a paste so you can put as much on as you want and position it exactly where you want it, moving and adjusting it a little as you go. Then just hold it in place for a little while (30secs or thereabouts) and it will set and dry. And believe me, no amount of washing, stone chips or anything else will be getting that off! :D

Well, the silicone sealant I used seems good to me. It's on there proper hard and has been for about 9 months. I had some in the house as I was redecorating and so used it; saves buying some Araldite. Someone here recommended I think.

Anyway, seems there's a few ways to get it on. Good luck

Where did you get the badge? Stealers?

Is it a Leon or a Ibiza badge? I had a look for a front grille badge on Ebay but the only one I could find was from abroad and I couldn't be bothered with Paypal and Euros!

I guess the boot badge is just the same? Looks better with the red writing too.
Part No. anyone?? (if you got it from SEAT).

can get the badges from stealers, but ive had problems with their codes and then the wrong badge appearing

ebay is a good bet for them but you will pay a bit more than dealers

Be careful - the proper grille badge is NOT the bade with the sticky back - it is a lightweight plastic badge.

I ordered one at the stealers & they got me the rear badge, which they sent back & swapped !!
