Hi guys,

Sorry for the completely null question. I havnt had a look before and it's dark outside now, but Im thinking of replacing the temp sensor in another attempt to solve my problem, but have no idea where it goes. Has anyone got any pictures or a simple description.

Much thanks

I had a look at mine today as i was going to change it. My enging management light has been on for a few days now.

I belive the black temp sensor is prone to going wrong so I was going to change it for the green one. problem is it is the green one i have fitted. I'll check the faults when my fault reader arrives tomorrow.

don't suppose the green ones are prone to throw up faults too?

satilaboy, I just checked out your other post and the reader you are getting, I got one myself does the job quite nicely, I keep getting 'bank 1 lean', garage says pre cat lambder so replaced that, still get the fault, unplugged maf - no change at all, disconnected each coil pack no change at all so guess it must be the temp sensor as its the only thing I can find on hear that seems to be an issue (apart from checking every hose and pipe for leaks). Hope it all goes alright for you fella. Let me know how you get on!
